Leading IT Support specialists IT Answers have won more than 15 new clients in the past four months adding to their ever-expanding portfolio.

Charities Age Concern and Citizens Advice Bureau plus law firms Abensons and Catherine Higgins Law have signed substantial one-year contracts with the India Buildings -based firm, which is headed by Judith O'Brien.

IT Answers, which began in 2004, currently has 120 clients across the North West, 11 permanent members of staff and a stable of quality contractors to assist the business on a daily basis. Additionally, there are plans to increase team numbers in the coming weeks.

Managing director Judith O'Brien said: "For the past four years, we have continued to go from strength to strength attracting a diverse portfolio of clients. Some businesses and organisations use us just for a single operation, such as remote backup. However, the majority utilise all of our services and products and we have been particularly successful in growing our SME client base.

"The SME community need the same mix of quality, innovation and customer care as that experienced by larger organisations and that is where we differentiate ourselves by providing a value added service."

IT Answers' progression in the market has been helped by their ability to reduce firm's annual IT spend and project costs. Recent statistics released by the company revealed an average saving of 40% following a strategic review into a number of client's IT support requirements. IT project costs were cut by 32% through a similar review that included a Disaster Recovery solution.

Mrs O'Brien added: "IT support is not just a simple case of 'insurance for your IT' or to take care of problems when they arise, it should add value to the business by ensuring the customer obtains maximum benefit from their IT while giving them a competitive edge on a number of levels."
