Me and My Handbag - Wednesday 2 September
Judith O'Brien is the Managing Director of IT Answers, an IT support and development consultancy. She is 50 and lives in Spital.
"I collect bags as I go about the city and if I see something I like, I'll get it. I've always been a bag woman as opposed to buying shoes or lots of clothes.
I'm a person who will actively go shopping for a bag too. The one I'm using today isn't a special one but it will fit everything I need inside. It contains my life, if I'm honest, and i could probably happily live out of it for a couple of days if I needed to.
All the usual stuff is in there, plus some sentimental objects. A silver Minnie Mouse keyring my husband bought me from Florida and a photo of my late Dad. I think every woman carries something that meand somethign to them with them in a bag.
The most I have ever spent on a bag is £1,200. It was a Kenzo and was in my more frivolous days. That said, i do use it alot, even now, so suppose if break it down to how much it's cost me on a daily basis per use, it's not so bad.
I like the make Coach too, as their bags are a bit different."
